I am a Chartered Legal Executive and I am a Fee Earner in the Conveyancing and Private Client departments.
I joined Forster Dean in July 2013, primarily to do Private Client work but I have now moved more into the Conveyancing department with a small number of private client files. I am based in the Runcorn Office and have over 30 years’ experience and an abundance of local knowledge.
I began my legal career in September 1986 as a secretary with a local firm and quickly began my legal training as a Legal Executive. I covered most areas of law in my first couple of years of training before settling on conveyancing and private client which I still do to this day. I have gained vast experience over the years in both areas.
Key expertise and experience:
Conveyancing – sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, flat sales and purchases, new build, help to buy, buy to lets, auction properties, Help to Buy ISA’s, Lifetime ISA’s.
Private Client – Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection.
Memberships and accreditations:
Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives
My career highlights are really just doing my job and getting a thank you from a grateful client. If a client takes the time to go and buy you a thank you card for you just doing your job then that is the ultimate compliment.
I deal with clients sometimes at their lowest ebb when they have lost a loved one and it is rewarding to guide them through the legal process of probate and give them that emotional as well as professional support they may need at this time.
When I don’t have my suit on, I…
I enjoy spending time and socialising with my family and friends. I enjoy watching most sports but my main passion is football and I have held a season ticket at Anfield for far too many years but still turn up for more punishment each year.
