To me Forster Dean is the leading firm on the High Street and I am perfectly qualified to say so because I work there and have done so since 2002.
The Firm is well known within the industry and moreover it is respected. It is a place where people want to work, and for those that do already, they want to stay. There are many reasons for that and I am here to share some of those.
Firstly the firm is people driven. All employees are ambitious and keen to succeed. They want to do well for their clients and they want to do well for the Firm. If they do so they will ultimately do well for themselves. Opportunities are only limited by ambition. Success is rewarded and not simply expected and the working environment encourages this to flourish.
The Firm understand that happy motivated staff work better. Competitive salaries and great working environments help keep people sharp. However it is the focus on free time as much as work time that is key.
There are cultures that think the longer the hours the more profitable the business. For Forster Dean, it is a case of work hard until 5pm and the rest of the day is yours. No work goes home and nobody works late. That fresh approach to the working culture encourages staff to enjoy their lives and stay motivated.
It is also insisted that at some point in the year that you will utilise two of your weeks holiday allowance together. This ensures a re energising period where you can truly be restful without being minded of your desk.
Yes we work hard but that is rewarded. It feels great to fight for real people and deal with clients face to face on the High Street. It is a fantastic place to work with great people and a good support network. The staff are an investment for the Firm and you are appreciated for all you do.
There is an alternative to long hours, poor pay and conditions and under appreciation. All you have to do is be willing to be dedicated to what the Firm believes in and work hard. For what you get in return, that is not a lot to ask.
